What are school skins?
School skins are a surefire way to look cooler while boosting your various stats/might. It is the aesthetic method in representing your house 🤘
You can check out a friend or foe's equipped school skin and the bonuses applied by tapping on their school in realm view!
PLEASE NOTE: We have temporarily disabled Might Bonuses from equipped School Skins while we run maintenance on them. We hope to have this turned back on as soon as we can and will send a mail when this happens. (March 13, 2023)
What school skins are available?
As of launch, there are a total 6 NEW Skins in-game with 4 Rarities (on top of the default skin and our first Winter Skin). Depending on your house, you will have exclusive access to your house's School Skin. This means that each player can collect a total of 4 new skins. Gotta collect them all!
Where do I get them?
School skins can be earned from opening School Skin Blueprints! The Blueprints can be purchased from the Shop using School Skin Tokens.
School Skin Tokens can be earned from 3-starring Tenebral hunts and placing high in the Grand Competition and Meta leaderboards. The exact place that players need to reach on these leaderboards may change in the future but for now, you'll need to reach #20 or higher!
Keep your eyes peeled for any other rewards or competitions though! Never know where these School Skin Tokens may be available next!
At this time, School Skin tokens will be available in competitions for users at higher levels and in older realms! If you don’t see them in your competitions just yet, you may need to level up your Great Hall or move to a slightly older realm!
How do I equip them?
Tap on your school in realm view and select from the selection of School Skins you have unlocked and tap "Equip"!
How do I upgrade them?
Skins are upgraded through the School Skins menu by:
- Tap on your school in realm view.
- Tap School Skins.
- Select the School Skin you'd like to Upgrade.
- Tap Upgrade on that skin.
- Tap Use on the Duplicates of the same Rarity to add them to the upgrade.
- Once you've Used the required amount, your School Skin will upgrade!
Be sure to upgrade your School Skins as it will boost their attributes!
Extra school skins of the same rarity can be dismantled to upgrade one of your skins!
You cannot dismantle your last school skin of a specific type.
Notes:
- Boosts to stats like Research/Construction Speed will not apply to Research/Construction that are currently underway.
- Attribute bonuses are all Active, meaning they need to be equipped to work!
