Greetings Citizens of Heckfire!
For the next 3 days we'd like to welcome you to a very special Community Test Event!
You may be familiar with the issue of sticky marches (marches that just don't want to come home after they are sent) and we have a special event for you to test out an improvement we have been working on! (which will of course grant you lovely rewards as a thank you for your help!)
The goal of this event is to get folks to swarm specific PvE targets on the map, so we can make sure it works, collect your feedback on the improvement and collect data on the backend.
How the Elf in a Shel. . .ter event works:
- The event's competitions will only be available between Dec 5th and Dec 7th.
- On Dec. 5th Competition's will start at 3:30 PM PST and 4:30 PST and last only 30 minutes (these times may be subject to change, we'll update you via mail)
- On Dec. 6th/7th Competition's will start at 3:00 PM PST and 4:00 PST and last only 30 minutes (these times may be subject to change, we'll update you via mail)
- A limited number of Elf Shelters will spawn randomly on the map of each realm.
- Hit's and Kills on Elf Shelters's earn you Points for the Competition.
- Elf Shelters will be hard to kill, and the goal of this test is for folks to swarm them, so let your clan mates know when you find one AND SEND AS MANY MARCHES AS YOU CAN!
- Earn great rewards!
- REMINDER - There are a limited number of nodes, so its possible not everyone participating will be able to complete the competition!
For reference this is what the pesky Elf Shelters look like, just imagine them filled with angry looking little elves!
Please note:
As this event is testing a new fix, we need your feedback on the improvement!
